Quel filtreur à cartouche choisir pour ma piscine ?
Which cartridge filter do I need for my pool?
A good cartridge filter keeps your pool water clear, clean, and comfortable all summer long. Thanks to their fine filtration capacity, cartridge filters are known for their efficiency and ease of maintenance. However, it’s essential to choose the right size filter for your pool’s volume. This guide will help you determine the ideal cartridge filter size based on the type and size of your pool — whether above-ground or in-ground. Why Is Proper Filter Sizing Important? A filter that’s too small can lead to high pressure, restricted water flow, and quick clogging, which increases cleaning frequency and reduces system efficiency. On the other hand, a properly sized filter offers optimal filtration, requires less maintenance, and extends the lifespan of your pump and other components. Which sand filter is right for my pool?
Crystal-clear, clean, and pleasant water starts with proper filtration. A sand filter is an essential piece of equipment to maintain the water quality of your pool throughout the swimming season. But it needs to be properly sized! This guide will help you choose the right sand filter based on the volume of your pool, whether it’s above-ground or in-ground. Comment mesurer son spa pour l'achat d'un couvercle
How to measure your spa before buying a cover
How to Properly Measure Your Hot Tub to Choose the Right Replacement Cover When it’s time to replace your hot tub cover, taking accurate measurements is essential to ensure a perfect fit. An ill-fitting cover can affect your spa’s energy efficiency, compromise safety, and shorten its lifespan. Here’s a simple, step-by-step guide to measuring your hot tub like a pro — and making the right choice the first time. Why Are Accurate Measurements So Important? A spa cover that doesn’t fit properly can allow heat to escape, increasing your energy costs. Moreover, a poor fit can lead to moisture buildup, mold growth, or premature wear of the insulation. That’s why at Trévi, we always recommend measuring carefully — even if you’re replacing an existing cover. Step 1: Measure the Outside Dimensions Using a rigid tape measure, measure the outer dimensions of your spa from edge to edge, in inches. Always measure at the widest point, including the spa’s rim (but not any jets or accessories that stick out). Key Measurements to Take: Length (L): the longest side of the spa Width (W): the side perpendicular to the length Corner radius: the distance between the corner of an imaginary right angle and where the curve of the spa begins (see step 2) Step 2: Measure the Radius of Rounded Corners This step is essential to ensure your new cover fits perfectly. Use a square or two rigid rulers to form a 90-degree angle above one of the spa’s rounded corners. Then, measure the distance from the intersection of the rulers to the point where the curve of the corner begins. This measurement, in inches, is the corner radius, and it helps customize the shape of your new cover. Accurate Measurements Make for a Perfectly Fitting Cover Taking the time to properly measure your spa will save you trouble — and ensure your new cover is efficient, durable, and visually appealing. At Trévi, we’re always here to help you choose the model that fits your spa best. Feel free to visit one of our stores or contact us for personalized advice! 📄 Detailed Measurement Guide (PDF) Download our complete measurement guide to help you determine the perfect size cover for your hot tub.
