1. Cleaning and maintenance after each use
Remove the robot from the water after each use. Rinse it with clean water to remove chlorine, sand, and debris. Empty and clean the basket or filter, and inspect the brushes, tracks, and wheels to remove trapped dirt and check for wear. These simple steps extend the life of the robot and maintain its efficiency.

2. Proper storage
Do not leave the robot in the pool between uses. Once dry, store it in a shady area, away from direct sunlight and harsh weather.

A robot may miss areas if there are obstacles, if the cable is too short or tangled, if the brushes are worn, or if the filter is clogged. Ideally, you should let the robot work on its own, then take it out of the water before enjoying your swim.



The "best" robot depends primarily on your pool. Electric robots like Dolphin (Maytronics), Hayward, or Wybot are the most effective at cleaning the bottom, walls, and waterline. For most residential pools, an electric robot with active brushes, a large basket, and an intelligent cleaning cycle offers the best performance-to-maintenance ratio.
