Maintenance Guide – Vinyl Fabrics and Reinforced Membranes
Water quality is essential to preserving your canvas or membrane. The water must meet current standards and be free of heavy metals (iron, copper, manganese), especially if it comes from a well, to prevent discoloration.
The pH must be maintained between7.2 and 7.6It's also important to monitor the alkalinity, hardness, and stabilizer levels. Improper balancing can damage the fabric, reduce chlorine effectiveness, and promote wrinkles.
For cleaning, avoid abrasive brushes and corrosive products. Use only products suitable for the type of coating (vinyl or membrane). Improper maintenance may void the warranty.
Regarding chlorine, the granules must always be dissolved in water before being added to the pool. Tablets should be used in a floating dispenser or chlorinator. With a salt system, adhere to the recommended levels to prevent discoloration and premature wear.
Before closing, thoroughly clean the pool and ensure good chemical circulation. Use a protective cover to limit debris and prevent stains.
Adherence to the maintenance parameters is essential to preserve the canvas and maintain the validity of the warranty.
