How much gravel is required for these steps and what size of gravel is recommended? Also, does Trevi sell this type of gravel? Thanks!
For this step, the manufacturer recommends using clean gravel to weigh down the stair section that goes inside the pool. You should place approximately 10 to 15 lb of clean gravel in each side stringer, so about 20 to 30 lb total for the weighted side of the steps. The other stair section should not be weighted. A small, clean gravel is recommended. It should be free of dirt, sand, sharp debris or anything that could damage the pool liner. Trévi does not sell this type of gravel with the ladder. It can usually be purchased at a hardware store or landscaping supplier.
