1. Preparation

  • Lower the water level to about 10 cm (4 in) below the return hole.
  • Unscrew the old fitting and thoroughly clean the wall and the canvas.

2. Installation (The "Sandwich" order)

  1. Inside side: Insert the fitting body with a first gasket against the fabric.
  2. Outside side: Slide the second seal against the metal wall, then screw in the clamping nut.
  3. Tightening: Tighten firmly by hand, then add a quarter turn with pliers (do not overtighten to avoid cracking).

3. Connection

  • Apply Teflon tape to the external threads.
  • Connect your filter hose.
  • Install the directional ball and the ring inside.

Winter Reminder:Remove each removable part (ball/ring) and install a winterizing plug according to the severity of your climate.

As with the return of water,remove each removable part(ring and nozzle) before winter. Depending on your region, install awinterizing plugWaterproof to block water and protect plumbing from ice expansion.

Coupez la pompe, tenez la partie extérieure et tournez la bague intérieure dans le sens antihoraire. Si le fitting est collé par le calcaire, utilisez un peu d’eau chaude ou notre outil bleu pour éviter d’abîmer le plastique.



Abaissez le niveau d’eau, dévissez l’écrou extérieur, retirez la façade intérieure et remplacez le joint et le fitting par un nouveau modèle. Revissez solidement et remplissez la piscine.
