Then open the cover, remove the old cartridge, and rinse the inside of the housing if necessary. Insert the new cartridge, making sure it is centered and seated firmly in the filter housing. Remember to apply lubricant to the cover gasket. Replace the cover, tighten the clamp, and restart the pump. Check for leaks.
