FAQ

Skimmer light Simple installation (uses existing opening), no technician required. Less coverage in remote areas.

Wall light: best distributed light Installation was a bit more technical (drilling/cable routing), but the result is good. more homogeneous.

  • Classics (niche):NoTurn off the power, remove the optical block at the edge (using the service cable) and replace out of the water; take advantage of this change the seal.
  • Induction lights:Yes, they can be removed underwater. because the moduleunclipfrom its base without opening a sealed volume. Always turn off the transformer Before handling, follow the manufacturer's instructions.

⚠️ Safety:circuit breaker/transformer OFF, verification absence of tension joints clean and new during reassembly.

Symptoms

  • Water level which drop ab normally fast.

Rapid tests

  1. Visual inspection: check the lens seal and the cable gland (cracks, loosening).
  2. Dye test(pump stopped): inject near the flange/lens; if the dye is sucked in, probable leak.
  3. Level test (also known as “plug test”): leave the descend naturally without adding water.

If the level stops just below of the light And stabilizes, it's a strong index that the leak is in terms of light.

If it continues to fall beyond, look further down.

Do test the power supply at the input and output of the transformer (expected voltage ~12 V depending on the model).

  • If the out put voltage is absent/unstable, THE transformer is probably the cause.
  • If the tension is correct The problem stems more from the light or wiring.

If you are not equipped to measure safely, call a technician.
