Pool vacuums

• Triangular: pass easily in corners and along the walls. Good "all-purpose" choice.
  
• Round:glides well on the rounded bottoms and pick them up well fine dust A good choice for above-ground pools!
  
• Rectangular: cover quickly large, flat areas. Ideal for flat bottoms.

Trick :For leaves/sand, take a head with wheels; For fine algae a head with brushes.

• Handheld vacuum cleaner: economic precise for targeted areas minimal maintenance; requires time and of the pump flow rate.
• Robot: autonomous, brush and filter; wins some time, but more expensive and asks for a basket cleaning.

Winning combo: robot for the routine handheld vacuum cleaner for retouching (after storm, corner/stairs).

• Diameter:1.5"standard (stable flow rate).
• Length at least the largest diagonal/radius of the basin+ the depth of the pool.
• Tips: favor a swivel tip head side to avoid the twists.
• Kind:vacuum cleaner hose spiral (not to be confused with backwash hose).

• Get in the head, the pole.
• Prime the hose (purge the air):

1. In the water: plunge your head, thenpush the pipe inunderwater until hethere are no more bubbles.
2. With the return jet: glue the end of the pipe onto a water return for the fill, then plug it in quickly.

• Plug in end of the pipe skimmer(with suction plate) and the other end to the vacuum cleaner.
• Put the multiport valve on Filtration (Or Waste/Sewerif you aspire to very fine algae).
• Pump ON/running.
• Aspire in slow, parallel passes Monitor the pressure: if she goes up, do a backwash(sand) or rinsing(cartridge).
