The amount of antifreeze depends on the number of lines to be protected (skimmer, bottom drain, water returns) and their length. Generally, we use2 to 4 liters per lineTo ensure adequate protection against freezing, antifreeze should be poured directly into the pipes after they have been blown out. It's better to add slightly more than not enough, as this protects the plumbing throughout the winter.

Use only oneNon-toxic, calcium-based antifreeze designed for swimming pools and spasOften based on propylene glycol, never use automotive antifreeze, which is toxic and can damage equipment. Pool antifreeze is formulated to withstand freezing temperatures without harming the water or plumbing in the spring.
