You wish to install a pool in your backyard? Trévi evolutive pools will dazzle you: a one and only structure that may be installed in three different ways to offer three totally different looks.  The concrete structure is unique. It can be installed at three different levels, and the materials remain the same. On one side of the wall, there is a smooth surface made of fibre-reinforced concrete on which the virgin vinyl linen is installed. On the other side, there is a galvanized steel wire mesh. Together, these two sides form a casing in which metallic rods are added before pouring concrete to reinforce it.  All pool components, wall and floor are filled with one concrete casting, thus creating the only monocoque concrete pool available on the market. Once the concrete is poured, it is shaken to eliminate any air bubbles and allow it to spread evenly over all the surface of the pool structure, and to make sure it is well compacted for greater toughness. Since Trévi evolutive pool concrete structure is very strong, it is possible to build higher walls to add pool depth.  Here are the three pool options that this unique monocoque concrete structure offers. Futura: the above-ground pool of tomorrow! This pool is installed above the ground and is entirely made of concrete. It offers greater strength, has a decorative nature stone covering and a pool coping made of paved stones. Thanks to its straight line design, it has a chic and modern look. Rectangle size is easily extendable to adapt to the available space in the backyard. Since it is not in ground, installation does not require heavy machinery. Also, the pool rising up from the ground at a height over 48 inches, there is no need to fence your land.  Europea: an integrated pool, that is installed slightly above ground. It is designed like an in-ground pool so it involves the use of heavy machinery. You can choose an even flat bottom or a two-level bottom with a shallow end and a slope towards the deep end. Walls are 52 inches high which provide approximately four feet of water in the shallow end and the possibility to have five feet of water in the deep end. The concrete monocoque structure is so strong that walls can rise up from 14 to 16 inches above ground level. This is the section that will receive decorative nature and paved stones. The Europea model offers a modern look with its straight line design. As for the Futura, it can be adapted to your land size.  Trévi Prestige: the most prestigious and strong in-ground pool on the market. It has the same walls of both the Futura and Europea, but they are entirely installed beneath the ground. Heavy machinery is used to access your property and excavate the pool area. The pool can have a square or a rectangle shape. Playing with straight lines only, it can be adapted to your taste and needs, for instance giving it an L-shape. Since these pools are self-supporting, they can be installed almost anywhere. Just imagine the pool of your dreams on a mountain side or a steep ground. In the winter, it is important to regularly check your spa. If you notice that the spa is out of operation, here is what you need to do to prevent piping from freezing or causing severe damage.  If the water is hot and the spa cover is closed, there is no danger to the spa before 48 hours. If repairs cannot be done within 48 hours, emergency measures should be taken to prevent piping from being damaged. Call a service technician as soon as possible. Then, switch the spa circuit breaker off. Get two 15-amp electrical heating units, two extension cords and install them within the spa frame. To install them, remove two spa panels. Ideally, chose panels in two different locations that are easily accessible. Insert both heating units and plug them in two different power outlets with independent breakers to avoid overloading. Then, put back the panels. Your spa is now safe until repair works are done.  View the various steps in the French video.

Après l’analyse de votre eau en magasin, la liste de produits peut vous sembler importante même si l’apparence de l’eau ne vous apparaît pas inadéquate. Pourtant, chaque produit a sa propre utilité. Jetons un coup au rapport d’analyse! Les produits à ajouter sont mentionnés et numérotés! Il faut respecter l’ordre d’ajout des produits pour en maximiser l’utilisation. 1- ALCALINITÉ TOTALE Après le manque de chlore, il s’agit de la principale cause des problèmes d'eau. Lorsque l'alcalinité est trop basse, on détecte des odeurs de chlore, les yeux chauffent, des algues se forment, le pH se dérègle et le chlore disparaît rapidement. Attention, votre eau est quand même très claire. Lorsque l'alcalinité est trop élevée, la peau s'irrite, le chlore n'agit plus, le pH se dérègle et l'eau se brouille. Si l'eau de votre piscine provient d'un puits artésien, elle pourrait déjà avoir une certaine alcalinité; il faut donc la surveiller correctement si vous ajoutez de l’eau pendant la saison.Pour augmenter l'alcalinité, utilisez Trévi Alca+. 2- pH Le pH, c’est l’acidité de l’eau. Si le pH est mal réglé, le chlore n'agit pas et l'eau se brouille. À la base, le pH est un facteur qui augmente régulièrement; il faut donc souvent l’abaisser. Idéalement, le vérifier au moins toutes les 2 semaines.Il devrait se situer entre 7,4 et 7,6.Pour augmenter le pH, utilisez Trévi pH plus.Pour diminuer le pH, utilisez Trévi pH minus. 3- CHLORE LIBRE Le chlore sert à débarrasser l'eau des bactéries et à éliminer les algues. Il est un puissant agent oxydant et désinfectant. Lorsque le chlore est trop élevé, il brûle les yeux, dégage des odeurs et décolore les maillots de bain. Lorsque le chlore est trop faible, il n'élimine pas les bactéries; l'eau se brouille et il se forme de la chloramine. Il y a également un risque d'irritation de la peau. 4- DURETÉ La dureté de l'eau dépend de la teneur en calcium et en magnésium de l'eau. L'alcalinité, le pH et la quantité de chlore influencent la dureté. Il est donc important de bien les ajuster avant d'analyser la dureté. Une dureté trop haute favorise la formation de tartre et de calcaire et irrite la peau. Une dureté trop basse peut causer de la corrosion.Pour augmenter la dureté, utilisez Trévi Calcium+Pour diminuer la dureté, utilisez Trévi Metaloc plus Enfin, on conseille un stabilisateur de chlore. Une eau bien stabilisée fait réaliser des économies importantes de chlore durant la saison. Pour éviter que le chlore ne s’évapore trop vite, ou qu’on en ajoute trop, utilisez le stabilisateur de chlore. Pour augmenter le taux d’acide cyanurique et stabiliser votre eau, ajoutez simplement Trévi Stab plus dans l’écumoire.Pour diminuer le taux d’acide cyanurique, il suffit d’ajouter de l’eau pour le diluer. Il est important d’attendre au moins 4 heures entre chaque ajout de produit. Si vous avez un système au sel, laissez-le fermer jusqu’à 24 heures après avoir ajouté le dernier produit.Faites régulièrement vos tests maison avec des gouttes ou des bandelettes pour ne pas perdre le contrôle de la qualité de votre eau cet été! Surveillez les dates d’expiration des bandelettes et changez les gouttes chaque saison!
