Dissolve 100 grams of oxalic acid into the warm water. Apply the mixture generously.

With its garden furniture collection, Trévi offers high quality furniture on all its lines whether equipped with different cushions, coatings and easy maintenance care. We offer rattan furniture, a durable material easy to maintain. For more information about rattan watch different informative videos on that topic. It is important to check the structure quality, for tables as well as garden salon furniture. When shopping, don’t be afraid to look under the pieces of furniture to know more about their structure. A quality structure won’t rust. Avoid steel as much as you can, otherwise you are shopping for problems. Focus on aluminum! Do you know the magnet test? Aluminum is not magnetic so the magnet won’t stick to it. Another interesting detail: different components are welded together to add more strength. Avoid furniture with components you need to assemble with screws. Quality is higher with welded furniture. You opt for a sectional? Take some time to examine if the different sections can be assembled. To have as much comfort in the garden as in the kitchen, strength and durability of your outdoor table are extremely important. Like you did when choosing furniture, you have to go with an aluminum structure. As for coating, Trévi offers teak furniture, a durable and strong hardwood. It also offers Polybois which requires no maintenance, and an anti-glare and stain-resistant tempered glass table that is ideal for families. You like to invite many guests at a time? Choose a table with an extension. Just open the table panels, unfold the extension and close it back. As easy as one-two-three! This summer, enjoy the outdoor life in the comfort of your backyard thanks to quality furniture. The only thing left to do? Invite your guests and decide on the menu!
The cushions of your garden furniture are beautiful; they add colours to your outdoor décor. What we really want is that they last for a long time and are comfortable as much as possible. Find out how to shop for quality cushions.
At Trévi, the cushions we sell are made of oleine which is an easy-to-maintain tight-knit fibre that allows water to pearl on the surface. To wash this fabric, simply use a garden hose to remove most of the stains. Since the water pearls, the cushion will dry rapidly. If you want to make it even more watertight, you can spray a product twice leaving it to dry for an hour between coats. During heavy rain or if it rains for several days in a row, it is better to store the cushions or protect them with a cover.
The cushions have to be comfortable. When buying them, beware! It is normal that cushions are firm at first, sometimes a little too much. If you choose a softer cushion, it will sag rapidly and won’t be as comfortable. So you could choose firmer cushions as they will become more comfortable with time. There are two elements to consider testing cushion comfort. First, it must be firm enough to keep its shape. Second, the padding needs to stay in place. Make sure to select a model with a small finish edge. Add extra decorative pillows on your garden set. Besides adding to your décor, they can provide a backrest and maximize your comfort.
Even if you are careful and wash your cushions on a regular basis, you might have to wash them extensively. Choose cushions with covers that are removable. Hence, you will remove the padding and handwash the inner part and be able to scrub the stains a little harder.
When shopping, keep in mind these elements to make sure you choose a quality design and you keep your beautiful and bright comfortable cushions as long as possible.
Rattan garden furniture is a must! But rattan has to be of high quality for it to last as long as possible. Whether for a table, a sectional or dining table chairs, rattan resin must be of the highest grade. Resin has a molecular memory, that is it goes back to its initial shape all the time. You need to touch it and test it to find out if it has good elasticity and pliability. A low-grade resin will be more difficult to move and have less elasticity. After sitting regularly on the same spot, it splits more rapidly and won’t resist as much to seasonal temperature extremes.
Resin quality also has an impact on colour. At Trévi, resin fibres are dyed before being woven. Thus, if the resin is cut, the colour is still solid inside. The dye is not simply a colour coating; it also allows the colour to gain durability.
As for the texture, it contributes to light reflection. If your garden furniture lightly loses its colour with time, it won’t show thanks to the fabric light reflection characteristics.
So why avoid buying very fashionable rattan furniture? Simply opt for quality rattan and keep your furniture for a very long time.
Outdooring has been the most beautiful decoration lifestyle for the past 10 years. It allows you to bring your life outdoor. Because summertime is short, we all want to make the most of it. Outdooring is a concept unique to Québec. Ten years ago, Trévi registered this trademark. The company had the greatest idea to invite people to recreate their house outdoor in a miniature size. Quebec designer Emilie Cerretti created difference atmospheres in four of our Outdooring pavilions. Let yourself be inspired!
Our Moroccan-style Outdooring pavilion takes its inspiration after the Thousand and One Nights. Its décor integrates lanterns and candles to add a romantic touch. Ideal for a romantic evening for lovers! Also, it could be interesting to opt for a closed pavilion if you wish to add a TV set or video games for teenagers, or hammocks to create a relaxing zone.
Our Italian-style Outdooring pavilion features outdoor cooking. You started to cook on the grill and there is a sudden rainfall? No problem! Thanks to this pavilion, you will be able to eat outside no matter what the weather is. The Italian trattoria theme is welcoming and much appreciated. Red and green accents, herbs and a nicely dressed table make you want to share a good meal with friends and family. And what about the counter/bar? It is ideal for happy hour drinks or sports event evenings! By opting for a pavilion with a skylight, you take advantage of the sun during the day or can admire both sunrise and sunset.
Our Greek-style Outdooring pavilion brings you by the sea. Very relaxing, its blue and white décor reminds you of the Mediterranean Sea. Relax, take a nap or work. With this wide-open pavilion, you are still protected from mosquitoes thanks to the screens and from the sun thanks to its opaque panels. White curtains are calming and make you want to practise yoga, to paint or enjoy any other quiet activity.
Our Spanish-style Outdooring pavilion is very typical. With its festive atmosphere, the space is organized in such a way that it makes you want to enjoy a tapas evening during which you will share a long-lasting meal with friends. The large pavilion facilitates movement and can accommodate a long table to sit many people. And why not change the table and install a poker table to play cards or adapt the décor for an outdoor child's birthday party?
In addition to creating a garden salon or a dining area under this pavilion, you could also use it to install a spa. In fact, at first pavilions were mainly used to cover a spa and relax in it whether it rains or snows.
In short when it comes to decoration, you need to dare… even outdoors! Your pavilion is a problem-free. Even if you don’t use it during the winter, you can leave your furniture and all decorative elements underneath until the return of milder weather. This way, the pavilion becomes the first room you use outside when spring comes back! You only need to open the door and relax.
When choosing an outdoor dining set, there are several things to consider. To enjoy a nice meal with family and friends, or by yourself, you need quality furniture that suits all your needs and adapt to all occasions. Discover what to look for when shopping for the set of your dreams and to ensure successful gatherings all summer long.

You will need the following items.
A pair of gloves, a small scale, a scrubbing brush, an empty container, two cleaning rags, 1 L of warm water, oxalic acid, and teak wood oil.
Dissolve 100 grams of oxalic acid into the warm water. Apply the mixture generously.
Let sit between 30 minutes and 2 hours depending on the condition of the aged wood. If the wood still has gray streaks, you can create a paste with oxalic acid and scrub the surface again.
When the product has acted, rinse thoroughly.
Let completely dry. Apply teak wood oil generously.
Let dry from 8 to 16 hours and reapply. Treat again when the water stops beading.
The delay can vary depending on sun exposure.
