How to switch from chlorine to bromine, or from bromine to chlorine?

  1. Wait until the existing chlorine or bromine has almost completely disappeared before changing treatments.
  2. Thoroughly clean the dispenser, feeder, and filtration system to remove residue from the old product.

  3. For a spa, it is recommended to completely drain the water.

  4. For a pool, a complete drain is usually not necessary.

  5. Before adding the new treatment, test the water and adjust alkalinity, pH, and disinfectant levels.
